Wow! What an amazing person! Very sweet, very entertaining, very amiable, very intelligent… How many people do you know with whom you would be able to have a conversation in 6 different languages???

Nick is a KRAZY KAT and a whole lot of fun. We have been working together for a while now and he is HYSTERICAL!! He has a great sense of humor and really knows how to laugh at himself, which is a wonderful trait. He has a very gentle and loving spirit and his passion for the kids he teaches is most admirable. He’s one of those people that is honestly helping to make the world a better place.

I was at a travel expo in DC several years ago. His first book, Europe Through the Back Door, had been my first introduction into the wonderful world of travel (this was waaaaaaaaaaaay before his TV series and before anyone had ever really heard of him). Because his book had such an impact on my life (I became an avid world traveler), in my mind he had reached an almost god-like status. To my horror, I was so happy to meet him that I acted like a silly teenage girl meeting her idol. He laughed at me and wrote a note to my mom, thanking her for “giving him a fan like Patricia”!! lol

I actually haven’t met HIM, but I spent some time with his daughter, Keiko. I was in the Peruvian “White House” (on special inviation as part of the YFU group) and she hosted our luncheon. I’m assuming she’s not as corrupt as her dad.

I met him once while I was at one of his weekend seminars. I talked to him and shook his hand and he greeted me warmly. He’s much funnier in person than he is on those tapes and CD’s. I was surprised to find that he swears like a sailor, but I like that in a motivational speaker! lol

Raques’s entry made me sound so good that even I wanted to meet me! But seriously, I have been very blessed with my work situation. We always joke around that we’re a “FAMILIAL” (as opposed to “COLLEGIAL”) group and we’re always there for each other without hesitation. Just tonight I was listening to the woes of a friend of mine who works in a somewhat psycho environment. It made me realize, once again, how lucky I am. Every once in a while we all need a reminder.

Mstchrlady is an entertaining person to be around and she is always good for a laugh. She has a great sense of humor. I have laughed so much while spending time with her. She is always up for a new adventure and for trying new things. I admire her for her ability to speak so many different languages and for having seen so much of the world. This lady loves people and loves life. She is worth meeting!

She’s a crazy gal and lots of fun to work with… We’ve been colleagues for several years. She adds life to a party (just put on the Middle Eastern music!) and she can make a mean banana pudding!
